The Hamsah- A Universal Symbol of Protection

Hand of Fatima or the Hand of Destiny.

The Hamsa/Hamsah is an ancient Middle Eastern image symbolizing the Hand of God.
This image and belief began in the Middle East, before the time of Egyptian civilizations.

In its simplest form the symbol for Hamsa is
the hand. Hamsa literally means "five".

While it is associated with Judaism, the symbol is universal and has a special place in all faiths,

A sacred and respected symbol,
it is said to bring happiness, luck, health, good fortune and abundance, while  protecting against evil.

Appropriate for any occasion, it is a wonderful gift for  a house warming as well as an anniversary, wedding, engagement and the birth of a child.
